You should have figured out what you were doing with it BEFORE registering it, not after. Tough lesson to learn.
So not only are you cruising the forums digging up old posts to answer, but you're answering them with nonsense.  How can someone register a mark without first "doing" something "with it"?

The OP clearly asked "what should I do with the mark", I was simply answering that you should have figured out a plan for how he was going to use the mark before registering it. I am sorry if my vocabulary was vague, I was just trying to state in a similar way to the OP in hopes of enhancing his understanding. I didn't realize a post made 5 days ago on a fairly inactive part of the forum was considered "old".

No, he asked about what to do after receiving a Notice of Allowance.  He never asked what to do with the mark.  Reread his question.

The mark is not yet "registered" because it is still in the prosecution (application) stage.  If his application was allowed, then the USPTO decided his mark for the goods/services offered under it are registrable.

As I stated before, a Notice of Allowance means that a Statement of Use ("SOU") must be filed to gain registration.  The process for filing an SOU is not easy and can be tedious if you don't know what you're doing.  Based on his admitted lack of knowledge about TM prosecution, Gemsergi should seek the help of a TM attorney to make sure the filing is done correctly.  An incorrectly filed SOU can result in an office action refusal or the eventual cancellation of the application if the SOU isn't filed on time or an office action is ignored.

Lyza is right.  You said the OP should have decided what to do with the mark "before registering it".  The point is, it's not registered, and cannot be registered, until after the OP has "done something with it".  Your advice is meaningless.

As for the reference to answering old posts, I've seen several old posts, some as old as three or more years, that you've decided to answer in recent days.

Starting a Clothing Line....trademark questions...

am in the process of starting a clothing line. For my scenario i will use Cheese and Ham as the company name and CAH as the logo.
Lets say i have trademarked Cheese and Ham, and i want to use it on a t-shirt. Do i have to now trademark specific designs i want to use incorporating the words Cheese and Ham, or does simply having Cheese and Ham in the design on the shirt keep it protected? And also, can i use Cheese and Ham on my shirts in a generic font style like something from a word pro...
