Will I receive a registration if I don't use the mark at all?

Trademarks rights must be maintained through actual lawful use of the trademark. If you are already using the mark in commerce, you will have to submit a "proof of use" to the USPTO. If you are not yet using the mark in commerce and are filing an "Intent to Use" based application, you will still have to submit a "proof of use" at a later stage. The USPTO will not register the mark unless the applicant submits a valid proof of use of its mark.
