The mark consists of the black wording "WORLD AMATEUR GOLFERS CHAMPIONSHIP". To the left is the design of eight small flags that appear to form a larger curved flag. Starting with the top left flag and proceeding clockwise, the first is depicted in red with yellow stars; the second is depicted in blue with a white star; the third is depicted in black, red and yellow horizontal stripes; the fourth is depicted in blue with an offset yellow cross; the fifth is predominantly green, with a yellow diagonal stripe in the left corner, above which is a blue triangle with a yellow star inside it; the sixth is red and green with a white diagonal strip through its middle; the seventh depicts blue, white and red horizontal stripes with small white stars appearing inside the blue stripe; and the eighth is comprised of yellow, green, white and red curved band.
