I have a registerd Trademark since 4 years, how does this work in the internet?

For examples i used coca cola because my trademark has 2 names just like coca cola.

I found out that this name is used by other firms,  using my name for their produkts.

A company registers a mark associated with a toaster, they use it on blenders, microwaves etc, but only use a single classification for the toaster (lets assume all the other products are not in the same IC).   B company want to register the same mark and places it on a knife block (holder).

My business has been putting a unique slogan on t-shirts since 2003.  We filed a DBA with the county in 2003, have been selling since then, and since last year we have been selling our t-shirts on a website- the domain name includes the slogan.  We sell our t-shirts all over the countyr.  We never filed for a trademark.

I have vintage promotional posters for the San Diego Zoo that I wish to reproduce for distribution. The posters are public domain. No copyright issues. But I checked the federal trademark registry and find that they have indeed been granted a registration for "San Diego Zoo" and that they offer a variety of tourist products under the mark. The PTO info says that simple geographic works cannot be registered. Hmm. They broke their own rule.

Their is a company selling a pepper spray product called woop ass pepper spray. As far as I know they DO NOT have any legal rights to that name. Can I legally take that name and trade mark it and stoip them from using that name.

Whats the difference between a trademark and a copyright? I want to print a logo and slogans that I make up on t-shirts, but I don't want anyone stealing my slogans or my logo. Also, would I have to register every logo and pay seperately for every one? Thanks so much! Sandi

I want to use the name of an insect in my company name.I have googled the name and although the insect name is used by other companies, there are none with the exact same name. Also, I have checked the US Patent and trademark office and and the name is not trademarked but one company trademarked the name of the insect. Can I use the name without fear of being sued?
