Description of Design Search

The mark consists of a ribbon where the outer left side of the ribbon appears in dark blue and the inner left side of the ribbon appears in blue. The outer right side of the ribbon appears in red and the inner right side of the ribbon appears in dark red. A light brown outline appears just inside the outer border of the ribbon. A second light brown outline appears outside and separated from the ribbon. In front of the ribbon appears the stylized wording "SAN DIEGO" where the lettering "SAN" and the left half of the letter "D" in "DIEGO" appear with a blue outline and black shadow and the wording "DIEGO" and the right half of the letter "D" in "DIEGO" appear with a red outline and black shadow. The interior of the wording "SAN DIEGO" is white with a light brown shading in the lower middle of the wording. Below the wording "SAN DIEGO" appears a rectangle where the left half has a blue outline and the right half has a red outline. The inside of the rectangle is light brown with white shading at the top. The gray wording "BOWL GAMES" appears in the center of the rectangle. Behind the rectangle appears a second ribbon where the middle of the ribbon is white and the two ends of the ribbon are black. Behind the ribbons and rectangle is a brown and white football with a gray outline. The football has vertical white stripes, has small white circles around the outer edges of the football, and the brown of the football is shaded from dark brown to light brown above the ribbons and rectangle and shaded from light brown to dark brown below the ribbons and rectangle. The color white outside the ribbon and football represents the background and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
