The mark consists of A black design on a white background. There is a thin circle that encompasses the whole mark. The text is circular inside the outer circle ring and reads Northwoods Carving with all letters oriented legibly without needing to rotate the image. Northwoods and Carving are separated by three dots on each side, with each dot decreasing in size as they go down. The inside of the mark is a unique tree designed that has a pointed trunk and three "V" marks to create texture inside the trunk. The top of the tree has 6 pointed branches on each side, with the bottom branches turning downward in a crescent, and the bottom center of the branches creating a "V" that runs down into the trunk. The Tree abstractly resembles the Norse Rune "Tiwaz" and the entire logo abstractly resembles a depiction of the Norse "Tree of life".
