The mark consists of a rectangle comprised of four squares on the top half of the rectangle alternating in color from beige to orange to beige to orange with a black lowercase m centered in the first beige square, a black lowercase o centered in the first orange square, a black d centered in the second beige square and a black o centered in the second orange square, a rectangle under each of the four squares alternating from orange to beige to orange to beige with a black lowercase m with the first half of the m in the right of the first orange rectangle and the second half of the m in the left half of the first beige rectangle, each touching the bottom and top of each rectangle and centered between the m and o in the squares above it, a lowercase black i centered between the right end of the first beige rectangle and the left end of the second orange rectangle and centered between the o and d in the squares above it, a lowercase black o centered between the right end of the second orange rectangle and the left end of the second beige rectangle and centered between the d and o in the squares above it, with a black rectangle under the four rectangles stretching from the start of the first rectangle to the end of the fourth rectangle with the words ristorante ilaliano in lowercase white letters centered in the black rectangle, with the whole design outlined in white and then framed in a black line making a large rectangle souranding the design.
