The mark consists of the following: a circular design bounded by a band of gold, within which is a band of red, with the words "MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CENTER" in gold. Within that red band is another band of gold, and within that is a circular field containing a view of mountains, in tan and bordered in black, and rays of sunshine emanating from behind the mountains, in yellow and taupe. Also within this field are three palm trees, with brown and yellow speckled trunks, and green, white, and brown fronds with black outlining. At the bottom of the circular field is a white and tan banner, within which appear the words "TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA", in black.
