Description of Design Search

At the center of the mark is a shield divided into four unequal quadrants: the upper left quadrant depicts a lighter fleur-de-lis on a darker background within the arms of a crescent moon. The left lower quadrant depicts a medium dark cross on a light field with a sword pointing upward on the vertical beam of the cross. The right side of the shield is divided into quadrants of alternating lighter and darker sections with a lighter fleur-de-lis adorning the upper half, and the lower half bears a lighter lily flower. Above the shield is a processional cross surmounted by a pontifical hat called a gallero. Six tassels on each side of the shield are connected by a cord to the gallero. A scroll beneath the shield bears the Latin phrase "LUCEAT LUX VESTRA".
