Description of Design Search

The mark consists of a circle modified to represent the earth by the addition of three longitude and three latitude lines. All of these lines are composed of alternating white and black horizontal stripes. The uppermost latitude line and the uppermost part of the circle are solid black to make an almond-shaped eye filled with white, plus a brick red dot in the middle for an iris. The equater and lower latitude arcs are also solid black to make the arms and legs of a human pictogram. The section of the central longitude line connecting the eye and the legs is also solid black to make the trunk of the body. The remaining lines of the outer circle, the longitudes, and the latitudes remain striped with alternating warm grey and white bars. The result is a pictogram of a person with an eye for its head, integrated into a lighter pictogram of the earth.
