The mark consists of a 2-dimensional representation of the visual impression made by a view taken of a sample of the goods such that a part of the image of the sample is hidden from view, the sample consisting of three planar members, including a symmetrical curvilinear member, curved in opposite directions about first and second mutually perpendicular axes spaced from and on opposite sides of the curvilinear member, the curvilinear member being intersected on opposite faces by a first pair of aligned planar, corrugated fins disposed in a plane aligned with the first axis, and normal to the curvilinear member, and by a second pair of planar, corrugated fins intersecting the first pair of fins at right angles thereto and disposed in a plane aligned with the second axis, each of the fins having a generally arcuate edge, each fin having four equi-spaced parallel slots opening in the arcuate edge and terminating closely adjacent the curvilinear member, the two pairs of fins dividing the curvilinear member into four quadrants, and including a generally circular opening in the curvilinear member in each of the quadrants
