The mark consists of official seal of "LIBERTY UNIVERSITY", which includes within it from the middle around the top to the middle on the other side is the wording "LIBERTY UNIVERSITY". From the middle around the bottom to the middle on the other side are laurel wreaths. Inside these elements is a polygon. Inside the polygon is a shield. Inside the top left of the shield is a bell with a crack in it. In the middle of both the polygon and the shield is an industrial building with a ribbon on the bottom. In the middle of the shield is a shaded rectangle in which the building goes through the middle with the number "19" on the left side and the number "71" on the right side. On the right side of the ribbon just above it is the design of a flame.
