The mark consists of the words "DERBY ROYALE". The background is a rectangular shaped with rounded corners piece of a black, white and gray checkered texture surrounded by a bold and embossed red tinted outline. A gradient of white and gray partly darkens the checkered texture. The letters of the word "DERBY" are arranged slightly curved and are filled in with white and light blue and are outlined in red. All letters and their outlines are extruded to a certain depth for a kind of 3D look. The letters of the word "ROYALE" are arranged straight. The first and the last letters are bigger and slightly distorted on the top. All of "ROYALE" letters consist of a red and yellow tinted spotted texture and have 3 outlines from the inside to the outside: a thin red one, a wider embossed one having a yellow to white tinted gradient from bottom to top direction, and a thin red one. The outlines drop a semi-transparent black shadow to create some depth to the letter texture on the inside. On the outside the letters drop a non-transparent black colored shadow.
