The wording "CHANGSHA MEDICAL UNIVERSITY" in stylized black font appears in the lower portion of the circular band between the two concentric circles. Five stylized Chinese characters in black are placed in a horizontal arc within the upper portion of the band. The left and right sides of the band each contain four stylized Chinese characters in black arranged vertically.
