Description of Design Search

The mark consists of the yellow wording "CLASSIC," which is located left-to-center, and curved on a slight arch above a disco ball. The font is script/cursive writing, superimposed over shadowed-musician figures. There is a purple saxophone player, an orange trumpet player, and a red vocalist with a microphone. The phrase "OLD SCHOOL" is located right-to-center, with "Old" stacked on top of "School." The font is a slightly larger and bolder script/handwriting font than the previous word, "Classic," but bears a similarity to the previous font. The color of the font is red with a white outline stroke and gradient black shadow to add dimension to the text. Just below the "c" in "School," the "&" is black, bolded, in a similar script font as "Old School," and has an underneath darkened gradient-shadow to add dimension to the text. Directly to the right of the "&," "BLUES" is in block-font that is white with stripes/piping in a blue color. The text is beveled to sort of 'pop' out with a multi-dimensional appearance. "JAZZ" is placed directly below "Blues" in red. It is bordered in white and beveled to give a multi-dimensional 'pop' illusion. Directly to the right of "Jazz," the "&" is white. It has an underneath darkened gradient-shadow to add dimension to the text. Directly below "Jazz," "HIP-HOP," is written in all capital letters and an engraved-like traditional font. The text is lavender with a black bevel trim to give the text a 'popping' off the screen illusion. "Jazz & Hip-Hop" is located at the bottom center-right, superimposed over dancing shadowed figures that are colored in purple. The text "LIVES FOREVER." is located at the bottom center, superimposed over a ribbon colored in red. The font is a printed script/handwriting-style font. The text is white, and contains a black beveled shadow to add a multi-dimension appearance to the text. The boom box is located at the bottom right-hand corner and is shifted slightly to the right, giving it a diagonal perspective from the front-face of the image. The colors of the boom box are silver for the body of the boom-box, and black for the detailing of the boom-box, such as, the two speakers on the front-face, the handle bar, the radio tuner, the details of the cassette tape, and the accent on the left side of the boom-box. The bottom left of the boom-box has a shadow, giving it a 3D effect with the boom-box facing towards the outside right of the image. The guitar is placed directly behind the boom box on an 80-degree angle tilted towards the right, with a microphone placed directly behind the guitar, standing up straight. The guitar is brown on the outside and white in the middle. The top portion where the guitar keys are is beige and the bridge is a dark brown, with white dots to indicate the accents of the guitar bridge. The school bus is in the center of the image. The front of the bus is facing towards the left, slightly shifted closer to the audience, with a shadow that gives it a 3D perspective. The bus doors are open, the windshield wipers up, and the windows on the side are tinted grey. The color of the bus itself is Yellow. The sides of the bus are accented with two silver lines and silver rims. The front of the bus has yellow headlights and a silver grill. The dancing shadows are located directly to the left and the right of the bus and are colored in purple. The arms of the first woman to the far left of the bus are placed up towards the sky, creating a 90-degree angle between both arms. Both of her hands are open palm. The man to the right of the woman shadow has his left arm flexed at a 45-degree angle and the right arm is lifted higher at a 95-degree angle, with his fist pointed to the left. There is another shadow figure that is to the right of the man shadow dancer, hidden behind the bus. The shadows one arm is the only thing visible, and his pointer finger lifted up towards the sky. The right shadow figures are superimposed by the "Jazz & Hip-Hop" words and illustrated in the same colors. Behind these shadows are more dancing figures that are faded. There are two on the far left that are partially visible behind the bold shadow figures, and another two on the inside-left of the bus that only show their hands in the air. On the right, two faded shadow dance figures are partially visible from behind the bold dancing shadow figures. Located at the left end of the image, directly behind the dancing shadows, there is a space shuttle pointed left at an 85-degree angle. The rocket launcher attached to the space shuttle is yellow and the shuttle itself is a traditional white space shuttle. The nose of the rocket ship is all black, with black windows and minor black accents placed on the rocket ship. The disco ball is slightly positioned towards the left-center side of the image. The ball itself has various shades of blue, silver, white and peach with 10 reflective bubbles floating over it. There are 2 small/medium sized white 10-pointed stars placed on the left side of the disco ball and lower right area of the disco ball. The lower right star is fading into the shadow of the school bus. The disco ball itself is cut off by the school bus, the shadow figures, and the bottom of the "S" in "School." There is a gradient red that rings around the disco ball, the left side being thicker than the right, and the ring being outlined in black. The large white star is located on the upper-right hand side of the image, with two small bubbles placed on top towards the left area of the star. The first lower bubble is located on the left crescent of the star in orange. The second bubble is placed diagonally above-right of the first bubble, right before touching the crescent of the star, in red. The location of Instrumentalists is at the upper left-hand portion of the image. The singer is holding the microphone with his right hand, using his pointer finger on his left hand to point towards the sky. The singer also has a barely visible bend of the elbow. The instrumentalist directly behind him is playing the saxophone facing directly towards the left, with his peripheral visible. Both his hands are placed on the instrument, the left towards the top and the right towards the bottom. His body is slightly leaning backwards as he plays. The last instrumentalist is playing the trombone with both his left and right hand next to each other on the instrument. His instrument is tilted slightly upward with his body facing to the left. All of these instrumentalists are located in the background of the word "Classic," directly above the disco ball. The ribbon is located at the very bottom of the image, behind the boom box and guitar, and in front of the bus. It has a slightly darker outline and a shadow 3D effect on the bottom of the ribbon. There are two paint splatters on the right side of the image. The first paint splatter is located at the top right corner of the image in red, behind the star and "Old School" wording. The second paint splatter is at the bottom right superimposed by the word "blues jazz," the microphone and the guitar. This bottom paint splatter is colored in blue. Within the splatter is some barely visible confetti, blending in with the same red color up at the top-right and blue color down at the bottom-right. Behind paint splatters are some sun-rays which are illustrated in yellow, growing towards the right side of the image and superimposed by the "Old School & blues jazz & hip-hop" wording, the shadow dancers on the right, the disco ball, and the school bus. As the back-drop of the entire logo, there are triangle-like flares that border the image, covering from the bottom left corner to the bottom right corner. These flares are long and thin, with a square point, and alternating between red and blue. The blue triangle is the first one on both corners of the logo.
