The mark consists of an image of an open book with pages outlined in lime green and dark green on the left side of the book, and pages outlined in light blue and dark blue on the right side of the book. On the left, upper corner of the outlined pages is an image of a light blue bird. The body and spread-out wings of the bird protrude the green outline of the pages. The blue bird has a single black and white eye, an orange beak and two orange legs. The bird wears a fuchsia graduation cap on its head. Blue feathers of the birds tail are positioned slightly above the pages that are outlined in blue. In the center of the page outlined in blue are the letters "Bb" in blue - one letter is written in uppercase and the other letter is written in lowercase. The letters are written in a dashed font, making them traceable letters. Below the image of the book and the bird is the word "Brighton" in stylized, blue letters, with the letter "B" capitalized. Below "Brighton" and shifted slightly to the right, is the word "ACADEMY". "ACADEMY" is stylized in all capitalized letters and lime green color.
