The mark consists of a circle with a middle section extruding from the lower portion with a set of two feathers extending downward off the tip of each point of the middle section. The stylized wording "BLACK HILLS MOTOR CLASSIC" appears around the top curved portion of the circle. Below the stylized wording "BLACK HILLS MOTOR CLASSIC" is a shaded arched portion with an eagle head facing toward the right and a series of stars extending from the back of the eagle head across the upper portion of the arch of the circle. Below the eagle head is a shaded mountain range with the lower portion of the mountain range extending to the bottom portion of the extruding middle section. Below the mountain range are two motorcycles just above the feathers on the left tip of the middle section. To the right of the two motorcycles is the stylized wording "STURGIS". Below the motorcycles and stylized wording "STURGIS" is another shaded portion with the stylized words "RALLY & RACES BLACK HILLS S.D." appearing above a series of buffalo extending along the bottom portion of the circle.
