The mark consists of a convex pentagon-shaped shield enclosing a parallel border line. The interior space is divided into three sections by two horizontal lines, centered and parallel to each other but neither touching the sides of the border. The top section contains the words "arvc National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds". Partially above and to the left of "arvc" is a graphic composite representation of the sun, mountains, a leaf, and flowing water. The center section contains the words "OUTDOOR HOSPITALITY" in capital letters. The word "OUTDOOR" is written above "HOSPITALITY" and in a larger type, both words being of equal width. The lower section contains the words "Conference & Expo" on a single line, below which is a graphic element comprised of 5 double-sided serrated thick lines pointing upwards, the middle one being symmetrical and thicker than those flanking it, the collective effect of which suggests a grove or forest of pine trees.
