The mark consists of a crest within a five-petal flower with the tips of the petals folded in towards the viewer. The crest consists of two concentric circles with the outer circle containing the stylized wording "1866 EWHA W.U.1945", several Chinese characters, a Greek cross within an ivory circle with a border and a Yin-Yang symbol. At the bottom of the inner circle are wavy pathways thru an opened door toward a mountain which have three peaks all within the opened door. On either side of these figures are Chinese characters imprinted on a brick wall. At the top of the inner circle there sits a pagoda double roof as if behind the wall.
