The mark consists of a rectangular image of blue and white clouds, with a brown image of the Liberty Bell in the upper-right, outlined and shaded in black, with the inscription "OF LEV XXV. V X. PROCLAIM LIBERTY HOUSEIN PHILADA. BY ORDER OF THE ASS PASS AND STOW PHILADA MDCCLIII" visible. Two World War II era fighter planes appear on the left side, which are silver in color with red tailfins, yellow stripes on the wings, green on the front fuselage, and black in the cockpit. The left wing and aft fuselage display a white star, encircled in blue, with white rectangles emanating from either side. A red stripe runs horizontally across the lower-middle of the entire rectangle, with the right wing of the lower airplane and a gold medallion superimposed over the red stripe. The gold medallion features three airmen above an eagle, with the wording "TUSKEEGEE AIRMEN" at top of the medallion, "1941" at the left, and "1949" at the right." All elements on the medallion are gold, outlined in black.
