The mark consists of a man in historical German costume having a tan body, yellow hair and mustache, and wearing brown pants, white shirt with red vest and red tie, orange belt and decorative piece, green hat with yellow feather, green socks, and black shoes and outlined in black, standing above the word "WURSTFEST" in black, and having the word "SINCE" and the year "1961" in red to either side of him, with both words above red lines with circles. The words "NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS" appear in white, flanked by white stars, arched over him on a red ribbon. An image of the State of Texas in red with a white star is below the word "WURSTFEST", with a scrolled white line on either side of it. The entire mark is on a yellow, vertically oval background, which extends out in ribbon fashion to the left and right at the bottom, and is outlined entirely in tan.
