The upper left quadrant contains the Ghanaian symbol gye nyame in gold on a red background, the upper right quadrant has the Ghanaian symbol aya in red on a gold background, the bottom left quadrant contains the Ghanaian symbol nyame dua in red on a gold background, and the bottom right quadrant contains the Ghanaian symbol Nkonsonkonson in gold and red on a red background. Extending from the shield are frills in red, gold, and black. On each side of the shield is a black lion with a red and black mouth, white teeth, and white and black eyes wearing a crown in white, gray, blue, red, gold, and green.
