The mark consists of a thin line circle with "NECEF" centered in the middle of the circle, the first "E" having a graduation mortar cap on top of the "E", and "NECEF" being surrounded by drawings of an artist's palette and brush at the twelve o'clock position, a baseball, basketball and football at the two o'clock position, a stack of books the top book having the title "123" on its cover at the four o'clock position, a pencil at the six o'clock position, a partially filled Erlenmeyer flask with three bubbles in graduated sizes of small, medium and large above the flask at the seven o'clock position and a curved wheat frond at the eleven o'clock position.
