The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of housing for an optical sensor comprising a downward-tapering cylinder, the front side of which is partially cleft to create a square opening with its sides corresponding to the curvature of the tapered cylinder, and with the un-cleft portion of the downward-tapering cylinder at the top forming a circular band around the downward-tapering cylinder, and the top of the downward-tapering cylinder forming a circle. The broken lines depicting the square base, the extended oval-shaped stem, and laser emitters and receivers depicted by two rows each consisting of a central circle flanked by truncated circles, the truncated sides of which face the central circle, with the two rows separated by a rectangular band, indicate placement of the mark on the goods and are not part of the mark.
