The mark consists of the background of the logo having a wood-grain appearance, as if the actual logo were carved out of a piece of wood. There is an image of a hand-drawn hammer and a nail at the top. The hammer appears in the forefront with the nail resting at an angle underneath it. The hammer and nail overlap at the middle of the hammer's handle and the middle of the nail with the hammer sitting atop the nail. The hammer and nail lock-up has the appearance of being burned into the wood-grain background, similar to what a branding iron would do if burned into wood. Below the hammer and nail are the typed words (in CAPS) "HAMMER 'N NAILS". There is a straight, horizontal line below the text which, if in real wood, would appear to have been carved out by a router. Below that line and on the far left and right side of the bottom of the logo, are diamond shapes which again, would have been carved out by a router if real wood. These are decorative elements. The shape of the composed logo has a half circle at the top, which houses the hammer and nail lock up, and then a horizontal section which holds the "HAMMER 'N NAILS" text and extends on both sides beyond the circle at the top. There is faint, more lightly colored wood-grain border around the whole logo.
