If I file for a trademark which has been cancelled and I'm successfull but the same name is already taken in a dot com, would I be able to take the dot com over? There are no other trademarks with that name and the dot com is not trademarked.

We are considering buying a domain name and want to make sure the legal IP/Trademark risk is acceptable. I have registered a website name which includes the .com , .biz, .co and .org I intend to set up a commercial website with this address which I expect will draw a world audience. I would like to further protect the name by registering it as a trademake. Is it sufficient to register the name without the .com .co etc prefixes. Does it matter if the name consists of 2 words, that I eliminate the space between them in the tradename, since that is how they will appear in the internet address...
