The mark consists of the image of a shield which is surrounded by several outlines of ovals. The shield is divided up into four parts. In the top left part of the shield are the letters "CVCA". In the top right part of the shield is an outline of the earth with the meridian lines overlaid by a black and white image of the United States flag. In the lower left side of the shield is the image of a book with a cross on top, symbolizing the Bible. In the lower right side of the shield is the image of an oil lamp from Biblical times. The shield is surrounded by a white oval line. Inside of the white oval line and centered over the top of the shield are the numbers "1968". Surrounding the white oval is a darker colored oval which has the words "CUYAHOGA VALLEY" on the top half of the oval and the words "CHRISTIAN ACADEMY" over the bottom half of the oval. The two phrases are separated by a dot. The darker oval is surrounded by a thin white lined oval. The thin white oval is surrounded by a darker thicker lined oval.
