Description:

(1) - The education of the public concerning issues relating to hospice and palliative care and disseminating information with respect to such issues; increasing public awareness of and improving public access to resources with respect to hospice and palliative care services by providing financial support to charitiable organizations that focus on community health and social service projects in the fields of hospice and palliative care; providing financial support to hospice and palliative care organisations; Creating and maintaining relations with physicians, health care professionals, health associations, government agencies and organisations which are involved or concerned with issues relating to the hospice and palliative care community by funding national or provincial health and social justice charities who are concerned with improving the health of their memberships
(2) - Providing financial support, namely grants to health and social justice charities concerned with health care and health promotion; providing financial support, namely grants for science education programs for elementary and secondary school aged youth; providing financial support, namely grants to charitable organizations in the field of community health and social service projects relating to health care and health promotion, science education, hospice palliative care and HIV / AIDS.
