Description:

(1) - Diagnostic services namely testing and measurement of fiber optic components; analytical services namely analysis of the spectral content of optical power, optical wavelength, and noise in fiber optic telecommunications systems.
(2) - Optical components, namely modules employing planar integrated circuits for use in optical fiber telecommunication systems, sub-systems employing planar integrated circuits for use in optical fiber telecommunication systems, modules employing hybrid integrated circuits for use in optical fiber telecommunication systems, sub-systems employing hybrid integrated circuits for use in optical fiber telecommunication systems modules, optical transmission systems comprising wavelength division multiplexers employing wavelength division multiplexing and their associated control and management functions exploiting dynamic optical elements for managing, provisioning and protecting wherein said transmission networks involve optical components which provide the ability to manipulate directly each channel or small clusters (bands) of wavelengths such that these components multiplex, demultiplex, attenuate, boost, switch or detect in different combinations to provide the necessary functions of the network, packaging for packaging of optical components, fiber optic components for use in metropolitan networks, fiber optic components for use in long haul networks, fiber optic components for use in submarine networks, and fiber optic components for use in access networks, fiber optic components for use in test and measurement of optical communication network equipment; photonic integrated circuits for providing analysis of the spectral content of optical power in optical fiber access, metro, submarine or long haul networks; photonic integrated circuits for providing analysis of the spectral content of optical wavelength, in optical access, metro, submarine or long haul networks; and photonic integrated circuits for providing analysis of the spectral content of noise in optical fiber access, metro, submarine or long haul networks.
