SmartTraining

SmartTraining Canadian Trademark Information

The SmartTraining within the Survival Training Simulation Theatre (STST) is conducted in a Smart Theatre that allows for a more realistic training environment whereby a trainee participating in a program could start at the basic level and complete the program at a much more challenging and realistic level. The STST has a state of the art classroom that uses a plethora of multi-media equipment as well as surface and underwater cameras to educate persons going through different training courses. There cameras can be linked to the internet for real time demonstrations. The facility is wired to create an illusion of a desperate situation in the middle of a hazardous environment. Within the STST, it is possible to replicate the noises, lighting and weather conditions associated with a ditching and subsequent rescue. Trainees are trained using a SmartMETS in combination with a SmartJib, as well as virtually in a VRDS. A trainee will complete training having mastered the basic building block and advanced to situations where they must coordinate a surface evacuation, survive a ditching, successfully complete their underwater egress, coordinate their fellow survivors into a group format...

Description:
(1) - The SmartTraining within the Survival Training Simulation Theatre (STST) is conducted in a Smart Theatre that allows for a more realistic training environment whereby a trainee participating in a program could start at the basic level and complete the program at a much more challenging and realistic level. The STST has a state of the art classroom that uses a plethora of multi-media equipment as well as surface and underwater cameras to educate persons going through different training courses. (2) - Trainees are trained using a SmartMETS in combination with a SmartJib, as well as virtually in a VRDS. A trainee will complete training having mastered the basic building block and advanced to situations where they must coordinate a surface evacuation, survive a ditching, successfully complete their underwater egress, coordinate their fellow survivors into a group formation, successfully deploy, right and board a life raft, and wait and participate in their own rescue. This is done while being subjected to very realistic conditions of up to 30mph winds, waves up to 3', thunder, lightning, the sounds of helicopters and all in the dark. As well, training would offer the participants an opportunity to enhance the current surface water survival and rescue/recovery skills.
