(1) - The organization and promotion of the 2009 Worldskills Competition, conferences and trade shows related thereto, through media advertising, print and electronic materials and specifically in the representation and promotion of Canada's skilled trades persons to compete in events that highlight the following skilled trades: auto body repair, automobile technology, beauty therapy, bricklaying, cabinet making, car painting, carpentry, construction steel work, cooking, electrical installation, floristry, graphic design technology, industrial control, industrial electronics, IT PC/Network support, jewellery, ladies/men's hairdressing, landscape gardening, machining, mechanical engineering CADD, mechatronics, painting and decorating, pattern making, plastering, plumbing, polymechanics, refrigeration, restaurant service, sheet metal technology, stonemasonry, wall and floor tiling, web design and welding.
(2) - Promotional clothing items namely, vests, jackets, caps, hats, boots, shoes, sandals, socks, shirts, sweatshirts, skirts, dresses, pants, shorts, undergarments, swim suits, coats, jackets, hats, scarves and gloves; Promotional and souvenir items namely, crests, pins, pens, pencils, stickers, flags, pictures, picture frames, posters, wine glasses, shot glasses, stem ware, drinking glasses, cups, mugs, bowls and plates; Safety equipment namely, eye and face protection equipment, namely: face shields, spark-guards, visors, safety glasses and goggles; respiratory protection equipment, namely: respirators, filters, dust masks; hearing protection equipment, namely: earplugs, earphones, headphones; head protection equipment, namely: hard hats, bump caps, hat liners; traffic safety equipment, namely: traffic vests, safety flags, traffic cones, traffic wand lights, flashlights, lanterns, flashing lights, battery packs; safety warning signs; first aid kits; Print materials, namely flyers, posters, press releases, banners, pamphlets and brochures; Publications both in print and over the Internet namely: monthly newsletters; event, volunteer, culture programs, safety, competitor's village and individual skill category handbooks; event, media and lapel pin guides; opening and closing ceremonies programs; and general reports.
