(1) - Provide its member pharmacies and pharmacists with continuing education opportunities relating to the delivery of distance-based pharmacy services; to promote the interests of international pharmacies through public education programs and lobbying government departments and agencies; promote high standards of practice by pharmacies that provide an international prescription service namely educational seminars, conferences, newsletters to inform members; provide professional education seminars and conferences designed to assist its members to develop policies and procedures that ensure compliance with provincial and federal statutes and regulations and Canadian International Pharmacy Association standards; provide its members with access to wares and services of pharmaceutical suppliers namely the provision of special meetings, conferences and a newsletter to facilitate access to the wares and services of pharmaceutical suppliers; develop information technology management systems designed for the distance-based delivery of pharmaceutical services.
