(1) - Charitable foundation services, namely, to promote and encourage the interest of the public in the development and growth of the Western Canadian community in fine arts, performing arts, athletics, letters and medicine, through the provision of scholarships, bursaries, loans and grants to institutions and individuals; to advance education in the Western Canadian community in fine arts, performing arts, athletics, letters and medicine; to provide scholarships, bursaries, loans and grants to deserving students to further their studies in the Western Canadian Community in fine arts, performing arts, athletics, letters and medicine; to provide scholarships, bursaries, loans and grants to individuals, groups, associations or any other person judged to be making a notable contribution to the Western Canadian community in fine arts, performing arts, athletics, arts, letters and medicine.
