(1) - Establishing celebration of OCEANS DAY locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; coordinating, sponsoring and facilitating sponsorship of promotional and educational materials, public lectures, roundtables and conferences, artistic, spiritual and cultural events; promoting ongoing oceans research, projects, artistic and cultural endeavours, public awareness, development of law, policy and other public initiatives which will result in sustainable development of the oceans ecosystems; generating goodwill through the applicant's personal and professional networks as an international law of the sea expert; educating and sensitizing world populations to the importance and vitality of the oceans, encouraging widespread, worldwide public support to adopt and carry out positive environmental initiatives with a view to the restoration and ongoing preservation of the oceans ecosystems.
(2) - Posters, T-shirts, banners, brochures on OCEANS DAY programmes and activities, booklets on OCEANS DAY programmes and activities, newspaper advertisements in relation to OCEANS DAY functions, programmes and activities, educational packages and booklets on oceans and OCEANS DAY, flyers on OCEANS DAY programmes and activities, signs on OCEANS DAY programmes and activities.
