Description:

(1) - Building control equipment namely computer control units namely control units programmable to automatically control some or all of the following: smoke and fire detectors and alarms, building sprinkler systems and fans, remote signalling to fire departments, elevators, elevator doors and elevator fan systems during emergencies, monitoring of stand-by emergency equipment namely pumps and generators; communication control units namely control units that preform the function of data communication with system components which control and/or monitor the environment inside a building, and control units that incorporate the ability to communicate via voice to audio units such as speakers for paging and telephones; sensor units namely units used to sense changes in a building environment and communicate the changes to a programmable control unit/control panel in place to allow for management of the environmental conditions in a building's entirety; signalling units namely units that generate, alone or in combination, audible or visual signals to people as part of a communication system namely speakers, bells, horns, light strobes, sound strobes, sirens, portable hand sets and receptacles (plug ins to allow for use of a portable hand set), and remote telephones and wall boxes (boxes with breakable glass to allow for emergency access to a remote telephone for use in emergency conditions) and protective hoods, grids and grills to cover signalling units; audio units namely units that generate audible signals to people as part of a communication system namely speakers, horns, bells, chimes and sirens, whether individual or in combination and protective hoods, grids and grills for use in protecting audio units; relay units namely electrical relays providing contact to control equipment such as fire alarms, sensors, lights and security systems not directly controlled form a control panel; keyboards, card readers, printers, displays, transponders and computer programs for such equipment.
