(13) - Organizing and provision of social, fitness, recreational, educational, art and cultural programs and services for older adults, to help them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life, maintain and improve the social, physiological, emotional and cognitive abilities of older adults; organizing and provision of adapted programming for older adults recovering from surgery, with mobility problems and movement disorders resulting from Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, multiple sclerosis, aphasia and other medical conditions; provision of assistance, information and referral services to assist older adults, their families and caregivers in locating health, social, financial, transport, personal care or other services to help them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life; organizing and promotion of volunteer opportunities in the area of social, fitness, recreational, educational, art, cultural and home support programs and services for older adults 50 years of age and older; coordinating and promotion of community-based services in conjunction with community partners and government agencies for programs aimed at older adults, their families and caregivers in the field of social worker case management, crisis intervention, counselling, mental health, resources for older adults suffering from progressive chronic diseases, Alzheimer's disease, dementia and memory loss, home delivered kosher meals, home care, home nursing, home support, personal hygiene, caregiver education, caregiver support, caregiver respite, emergency financial assistance and services for Holocaust survivors and their families, transportation and recreational outings; the operation of a community recreational centre, a drop-in centre for older adults for the purpose of caregiver respite, wellness centre, workout studio, art studio, computer centre, and woodshop; organizing and promotion of lectures, panel discussions, presentations and conferences in the field of elderly care, health and fitness, resources for older adults, and other topics of interest to older adults, their families and caregivers; the operation of a website and blog providing on-line information in the field of elderly care, health and fitness, resources for older adults, and other topics of interest to older adults, their families and caregivers
