(1) - Research and development of assessment and evaluation programs whereby program participants are assessed and audited by third parties in accordance with good agricultural practices relating to on farm food safety standards; conducting workshops in quality management relating to the production, storage and packing of fruit and vegetables in accordance with good agricultural practices; educational, training and consulting services concerning the production, storage and packing of fruit and vegetables in accordance with good agricultural practices; research and development of management systems governing maintenance, delivery and oversight of programs related to the production, storage and packing of fruit and vegetables in accordance with good agricultural practices, including general management policies and procedures, processes to review and update program documents, audit and training programs, and benchmarking of such programs to other national and international requirements.
