(2) - Association and membership services concerned with professional and industry groups namely all of the following services: training and educational services namely staging, arranging and conducting events, namely, seminars, workshops, courses, symposiums, trade shows, fairs, expositions, conferences, receptions, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, auctions and golf tournaments, relating to issues relevant to and/or relating to the mining and mineral exploration industry; promoting the mining and mineral exploration industry and the interests of such industry and its members; advocacy on behalf of the mining and mineral exploration industry and its members; lobbying governments on behalf of the mining and mineral exploration industry and its members; setting and maintaining quality control standards and ethics in the mining and mineral exploration industry; staging, arranging and conducting fund-raising events; co-operation, collaboration and negotiation with First Nations in furtherance of the interests of communities and the mining and mineral exploration industry and its members; the operation of a website featuring a library of electronic publications and information directed to the mining and mineral exploration industry.
