Similar Business name to existing trademark

Posted by . updated on 5/30/2014
Hi,
We want to create a business with a name we really like, but after some research found it somewhat similar to another trademarked comic character.
(Using made-up names to help explain)
For example, we want to use the name "Manybug" with website "Manybug.com"
However, there is a comic character called "Manny Bug" with website "Mannybug.com" (note the extra "n")

Our company will be developing softwares, in addition, our means "a lot of bugs" while the other is a First name, Last Name.
Question is, will there be a copyright/trademark infringement?
