Description of Design Search

The mark consists of an open book featuring a lit torch above the numbers "1883" centered between wings, all in between the two lions. An inverted triangle crest divided into four sections appears below the open book. Three fleur-de-lis appear in the upper left section, a Bunsen type burner appears in the upper right section, the Greek letters PHI DELTA CHI appear in the middle section below the upper sections, and a lamp appears in the bottom section. A banner surrounds the left and right sides of the inverted triangle and the bottom point of the tringle. The banner is inscribed with the Greek words "ALTERUM ALTERIUS" on the left side of the inverted triangle, the Greek letters ALPHA OMICRON OMEGA below the bottom point of the triangle, and the words "AUXILIO EGET", on the right side of the inverted triangle.
