I owne my YS200 for about 8 months I use it around my 4 acres to haul sticks tools rocks and many other light loads. Most of the time I use it for transportation. Shifting between geaqrs is touchy but just don't jam it around and you will be fine. The battery has gone bad and the system seems to discharge the battery in about 5 days so I installed a battery cutout switch. Keep in mind I paid $2500 for it the better models cost $10,000 plus

I love my yardsport ys200. i bought it in 2013. at first had a problem with the carb. i bought and installed a new one. then it would stall if i drove it to long. it ended up being the gas filter. replace it with a bigger one. now the thing does amazing. if you are planing on buying one i would suggest replacing the inline filter before even riding. the oil it comes with needs changed after the first five hours of operating. this is very important. the oil in it has solvents to help break the engine in. follow these steps and it will last you a long time

NOT worth a star. Yardsport SL200 and Yardsport SL 200 XLT is truly junk. I am not an angry Menards customer but do own a Yardsport sl200xlt and know of 2 others that own it. being this is the most expensive single product item Menards sells, you would think it would be built as their flagship product but instead it very likely is the poorest quality item they stock. Rate this as a DO NOT BUY at ANY price. If you already bout, I am sorry for you. If you attempt to correct and improve to upgrade to at least a plastic Barbie car then you will spend far more then it is worth but at minimum constantly check and grease ALL grease points paying very special attention to wheel bearings. Disconnect the vacume controlled auto-choke and replace with a manual choke. NEVER run with low or over filled oil. Keep oil level at EXACT full level. NEVER is gasoline containing ANY ethonal.

I have to agree with most of the reviews.Had mine now for a year and a half .Have had same problems. When I called that coyote in Texas he said no one else was having any cart spent the first four months in the shop and when it came back it ran just as bad.The mechanic also had to wait on parts coming by pony express from Texas or on the Mayflower from CHINA? Worst buy I ever made. I can't believe Menards still sells them. I have worked out most of the problems, still having trouble with it wanting to die about every ten minutes or so after you drive it awhile.

Bought a yardsport in spring of 2013. The first day got stuck in a small dirt pile 10" tall. Should have been a warning of the things to come. Other than that it worked okay until the end of the first month. When you would put it in gear the gear would miss, you would have to hold the shifter in place to keep it in gear. Tried to adjust the cable that was not the problem. Menards say's take it to a dealer. After months of not getting nowhere with anybody. Winter came along and put the blade on to push snow. That's when the stupid thing should have been thrown in the trash. The clutch was slipping in forward and reverse. won't stay in gear at all. When you try to push alittle snow. the engine starts to die. You can't go in reverse cause the throttle goes up and down. When you try to raise the blade half the time it wont move. You have to tighten all the nuts over and over again even with lock tight wont stay put. I took the piece in to a repair place that supposed to work on Yardsports. I dropped it off in March of 2014. Never heard any thing for 4-weeks. called and called. Finally someone answered the phone. They told me it would be over $600 to fix. I said fix it. Called in may to see why it isn't done. He said can't get parts. Here it is the second week in July 2014 and the repair guy said he still cant get parts. The whole thing with this atv is it's cheap junk, And they have worthless repair companies to work on the there junk. I would not give this to my worst enemy. Menards should be ashamed at the items they sell. Here I have a $6000.00 machine that has been setting for 5- months in the shop. and who knows when it will be fixed if ever. This is not worth ta star.
