The mark consists of the words "Top Gun" appear in large letters with the letters "T" being shaped like a pistol pointing left and the right side of the letter "N" being shaped like a pistol pointing right. There are three horizontal stripes extending left from the "T"'s pistol grip underneath and parallel to the barrel. Similarly, there are three horizontal stripes extending right from the "N"'s pistol grip underneath and parallel to the barrel. The word "Shooting" appears in smaller letters underneath the word "Top" on a horizontal stripe which extends horizontally underneath the word "Gun" where in smaller letters appears the word "Competition". Between the words "Shooting" and "Competition", centered underneath the words "Top Gun", there is an oval. Along the top half of the oval's border appear the words "Sáncte Michael Archángele, Defénde Nos In Proélio, Protegat Nos". At the bottom of the oval's border are five stars. In the center of the oval is a police officer's badge or shield which has an eagle at the top. In the center of the shield is a five pointed Sheriff's Office star with a ribbon across the top point with the words "Top Gun" written in the ribbon. There is another ribbon across the two bottom points with the word "Competition" written in the ribbon. There is a circle in the center of the star with a small star on the left side of the circle and another small star on the right side of the circle with the stars and stripes in the center of the circle.
