The mark consists of the words THE LEAN LAB in capital letters inside of a teal rectangular box, with the words THE and LAB in white, and the word LEAN in dark red. Positioned underneath the rectangular box, starting at the letter "H" in THE, is the smaller capitalized wording FOR URBAN EDUCATION INNOVATION AND REFORM in black. The black capitalized wording THELEANLAB.ORG is right justified underneath FOR URBAN EDUCATION INNOVATION AND REFORM. All of the wording appears in a stylized circuit diagram. A white rectangular box outlined in black is positioned above the teal rectangular box and is divided into three sections, with the left section containing 7 black lines with black dots on top that run from the teal rectangular box to the center of the upper box, with the exception of the center line, which has a black dot on both ends and runs from the center of the upper box to the bottom outline of the upper box, the middle section containing three black dots, the middle of which is connected by a black line to the teal rectangular box, and the right section containing three black dots with the left dot containing two lines that run into the teal rectangular box. A black horizontal line also runs from the left side of the teal rectangular box, and turns upward and runs above the white rectangular box that is above the teal rectangular box, and then turns horizontally and runs to the right, terminating just above and past the right rectangular box in a black dot. A black line runs below the teal rectangular box under the word THE and turns horizontally to the left and terminates in a black dot. A black line also runs below the teal rectangular box between THE and LEAN and turns horizontally to the right and then turns upward again and terminates at the teal rectangular box under the letter "L" in LAB. Two small black lines that each terminate in a black dot break up this bottom line into three sections.
