The mark consists of a shield which is outlined in a black line, inside of the black line is a yellow line which also outlines the shield, the background of the shield is blue. Superimposed inside of the shield are the words "Soap Box Derby" in white and outlined in red. Below the words "Soap Box Derby" are the words "Gravity Racing" in yellow outlined in black. Below the words "Gravity Racing" is the word "Challenge" in white and outlined in red. Behind the words is a field of blue. Below the shield is a tire which is half-hidden behind the shield.
