Description of Design Search

The mark consists of the individual three-dimensional configuration of the vent openings of a muzzle brake, namely, the generally kidney shaped vent cavities extending angularly into the side of the muzzle brake body that open into the axial muzzle bore and form a pair of cusps in the barrel side of the cavity wall around the muzzle bore and a pair of vertical wedges in the muzzle side of the cavity wall around the muzzle bore. The broken line outline of the muzzle brake and the other vent openings are not part of the trademark, but are intended to show an exemplary muzzle brake which may take various sizes and have any number of vent openings. The stippling inside the vent openings is provided to better show the configuration and shape of the vent opening and is not a feature of the mark.
