The mark consists of an oval shape bordered in green and linked together at the bottom by six green foliage leaves, two orange oranges and one yellow grapefruit at the bottom center. Within the top of the border are the words, "CITY OF APOPKA" in green stylized font; the year "1882" above in smaller green font as well as a depiction of an Indian princess, outlined in green at the top left, and a Masonic symbol at the top right, outlined in yellow and blue. The center of the mark consists of a second oval with the words "INDOOR FOLIAGE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" in regular green font with a depiction of a tree farm in green, a brown cornucopia with green leaf lettuce, green cabbage, yellow squash, yellow pears, green grapes, red grapes, yellow corn, red tomatoes and brown potatoes. The word "FLORIDA", is scrolled underneath the inner oval at the bottom, in green font. The mark is set against a white background which is claimed as a feature of the mark.
