The mark consists of a standing fanciful, muscular figure with the head of a bull with a nose ring. The figure is wearing armor, boots, gloves, a large belt buckle consisting of a circular border with Chinese Characters reading HINSYU KUROGEWASYU at the top and KUROGEWAGYU at the bottom surrounding the design of a bull's head displaying the Chinese characters for the words "KAGOSHIMA KUROUSHI", and a full-length cape with a circular fastener at the neck. Chinese characters for the words "KAGOSHIMA KUROUSHI" and Japanese katakana characters for the words "GYUZINGER BLACK" appear in front of the figures's right leg. Below the figure are the words "KAGOSHIMA KUROUSHI GYUZINGER BLACK" in black stylized lettering. The figure's armor, boots, gloves and head are black and gray. The figure's forelock is red.
