The mark consists of an outline of the State of Alabama in black. At the top of the design is a red and black banner design containing the wording "CONDE CAVALIERS" in yellow and outlined in black. Beneath the banner are the words "MOBILE" and "ALABAMA" separated by a five-point star, all in yellow and outlined in black. On the left side of the design is a pirate wearing a yellow, blue, red, and white top, a black and white belt, blue, yellow, and red pants, and black boots. Hanging from the top is a brown, red, black, and yellow sheath. The pirate is wearing a black and red, plumed hat. In his right hand is a blue and yellow mug with yellow and red foam atop it. In his left hand is a yellow, black, and white sword. To the right of the pirate design are the numbers "1520" and "1977" separated by a fleur-de-lis, all in yellow and outlined in red. The bottom right of the overall design is a ship sailing on a white and black sea with sails in black, white, yellow, and red. One of the sails has a yellow and black fleur-de-lis on it.
